Monday, 27 January 2003 02:24 pmWell, I emailed Reed, and they are being helpful. I'm to phone them when I leave work. Hopefully I can be out of here by the end of the week. I have said I would rather take a week or two without work than stay here longer.
You know, I thought the database was dull. Then they gave me a set of surveys to process with a barcode reader. Less interetsing, less creative, less engaging-of-brain, more repetitive movement-wise, and the damn reader BEEPS! I got rid of that for the day, but I still have a half-hour of database to go. Gah

Monday, 27 January 2003 04:45 pmProblem solved. No longer have job. Not oly did I hate it, they didn;t like the fact that I was turning up at 10.15 instead of 10 (partly because That Is When The Damn Bus Gets There). So they wanted me out too.
So, mutual agreement, I don't have to go back. That is it. I'm to call Reed tomorrow to see if they have anything else available.
Am jubilant but also slightly anxious.
