have emailed temp consultant at Reed to ask about other jobs. I'd levae tomorrow if i could. Not only is is BORING ME WITLESS, I have basically been totally misled about it and inveigled into the job under false pretences.
I've a good mind to cry off sick for the rest of the week, but that would harm my cred with Reed too.
*hugs* perhaps if you tell Reed how thoroughly mislead you've been about it they'll be able to help in some way. Though what I've seen of other people temping doesn't make it seem terribly hopeful.
Get out asap. Seriously. There is not much more damaging to someone's self esteem than to be told that the crappy, mind-numbingly dull job is all they're good for. Don't accept it. And certainly do your damndest to get them told off over the fact they lied about the job specs - because they should NOT be allowed to get away with it.
the .ox.ac.uk one does work, but I'm not sure how long for, since I'm officially leaving. The one in my profile (lucy@photonhunter.co.uk) forwards there at the moment, and when I move to another address, I'll change the forwarding.
