Monday, 27 January 2003 04:45 pmProblem solved. No longer have job. Not oly did I hate it, they didn;t like the fact that I was turning up at 10.15 instead of 10 (partly because That Is When The Damn Bus Gets There). So they wanted me out too.
So, mutual agreement, I don't have to go back. That is it. I'm to call Reed tomorrow to see if they have anything else available.
Am jubilant but also slightly anxious.

Date: Monday, 27 January 2003 09:09 am (UTC)yeah, i had an assignment like that once. the shuttle bus they provided from the train station[1] arrived at the office at 9:05. So I had to be either 25 minutes early - for which I didn't get paid, and couldn't just work an earlier schedule (they were assholes for oooooh so many reasons - they didn't want me to take a lunch break, either, and those are mandatory by law!) - or suck it up and be guaranteed late every single day.
stoopid.
[1] so that employees wouldn't have to, say, cross 2 major highways and walk a mile, the major highways being the important part
