Is "earworm" a UK thing or just the Cambridge and extended crowd? I hadn't heard it until sphyg started to use it. Good word though!

I probably picked it up from Oxnet and oxbridge.tat, so that counts as filtering over from the Cambridge crowd, probably. I think Oxford geeks and associates would understand it, though - same filtering process as above. L
