taimatsuAll going well so far. Schoolfriends yesterday were happy and fluffy and all doing bloody Masters and PhDs and making me feel inferior. Not deliberately, but still. I even got there first, I was most surprised. A real victory there for Lucytime, I think.
I spent this morning being a bit lazy, then helping with cleaning and stuff. This afternoon I bought last family christmas-present, cleaned waz off a reindeer and delighted my mother with the new decorations I bought. We now have a tree. It is only about 6 foot tall but it'll do. We're going to church in about two minutes, then coming home and doing the tree. Tomorrow we wake up stupidly early, open stocking presents, disturb my parents, open family presents, then have my godmother, her two sons and their grandma over for brunch. There may even be kedgeree.
I have a nice mystery parcel from Cambridge and a nice text message from jdc, so this is looking like a rather good Christmas, all in all. I just hope my presents to family pass muster...
