My father has given me some money! I am no longer completely impoverished!

I have spent all day sorting out my room! I can now use the desk properly and get at the wardrobe and it's all good and organised and nice! I am very happy indeed. I am also knackered and very hungry as I have not eaten a meal all day - i have had a satsuma, a ginger biscuit and a few handfuls of cornflakes. May have to go and correct this now.

I still haven't found my passport, which is the one cloud in today's sky :/

I have about four boxes of costume, which is crazy, and way more clothes than I need. I will have to get rid of things. I also have about five boxes of fabric, which is scary.

Coincidentally, I didn't eat much today either, because I got distracted by a thought half way through my brunch and wandered off to do something else with the vague intention of coming back to prepare some more food afterwards. It wasn't until I did the washing up an hour ago that I noticed the lack of used crockery and realised I'd forgotten to resume my meal :-)

I would be collpased in a heap on that much food! I get so tetchy and tired and fed up when I don't eat at regular intervals - it's terrible! I hope you got something nice in the end. Good luck with sorting clothes - maybe niceboots or eBay would be good - I keep meaning to post stuff but haven't got round to taking the photos yet.

Hooray for getting stuff done :D Hopefully today we will move everything back into the box room, and finally have a bedrom, after basically 5 months of doing without. Hooray!

I was thinking of you while I made my latest soup (http://purpleheather.livejournal.com/238397.html), btw. While you've now got cash, if money is still a bit tight then it is quite cheap, and I reckon it'll freeze well. Can also be made with chicken stock apparently, if you've got no veg. stock.

*grins* motodraconis has cooked it with lentils instead of chick peas, and it worked well.

Are you planning to be at Bladelands this year?

No idea at all. I'd kind of like to but it may be difficult. It's a lot of money and effort. I'll have a think about it :)

I don't know that I will be - money for me mainly. Maybe we could plan to get together instead :D

I'd like to go to at least one Bladelands and one Shards event, but it will depend very much on money and when they are in relation to termtime. We should definitely get together :)
