I went to the charity shop and I bought...

... a lovely snuggly grey t-shirt, a lovely snuggly cream scarf, a lovely shiny brass bracelet (for roleplaying), a lovely folky CD (Clannad), and *nine books*! Nine! Nine books! Wheeee! And only one of them I have read before (I bought Little Women, because I felt like reading it and my copy is somewhere in a pile of boxes at my dad's, I think). *bounce*

I also have food and fabric conditioner. I have lots to do this afternoon, so if you see me online please prod me and check whether I have done it all. I need to go out and do some important shopping...

Hurrah for books!

I like books... Mrs. D, however, isn't keen on my continuing to buy books given that we no longer have space on the bookshelves.

Well... when I say 'no longer have any space on the bookshelves' I mean 'haven't had any space on the bookshelves for at least two years and on top of that have no room for more bookshelves.'

One day we'll have our own house and there'll be at least one wall with floor-to-ceiling shelves.

I love charity shops. Glad you lucked out! What other books did you get?

I have never read any of Maureen Lipman's books but I like the columns she writes. I'll have to check her out :-).
