Had good weekend :) Did random housy stuff on Friday; on Saturday, went home to parents' to spend the evening with youngest brother. Other brother and parents were off to school ball, and youngst brother hates being left alone in the house for long periods of time. So I went home and we went to the video place and got ourselves Spy Game (with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt) and Charlie's Angels (with Lucy Liu *drool* Drew Barrymore *drool* and Cameron Diaz *half-a-drool*). We were up till 2am watching them and eating mini-hula-hoops and chocolate and drinking Lilt. It was really good fun. I like my brothers a lot, and it was really nice to spend time with Hugo. He's almost 15! scary!
Anyway, then I came home on Saturday in time to have lunch with Michael at Kazbar (yum) and natter about STUFF and Mage and all sorts of things, and it was gooood :) And then I went roleplaying, which was also fun. I took my guitar and spent most of the evening strumming, plus going off on nerve-wracking mission to scary graveyard thing with a bunch of other people. That'll make an interesting downtime. I actually had some problems getting into character - I need to write some more background in order to really get inside Clare's head. Which is kind of odd, as it's mostly my head, but, still... Methinks it's time to join Shadow Writers :)
Oh yes, and today I went to work, very very tired, did filing and photocopying and then refused to copy document being rude about the Catholic Church. Historical or not, it's still offensive. Maybe Edward'll be a little more careful in future. I try very hard not to offend his religious sensibilities - now he knows my technical affiliation, hopefully he'll take the same care of mine.
And on the way home I met Sophia and James and Sidney! and I got to meet Sidney, who was asleep and being very very cute, and they said thank you for the little book I gave them, and it was all very nice. Didn;t stay for drink as needed food here, and didn;t want to force them to sit and make conversation with me. But maybe I am too paranoid about whether people want to spend time with me or not :)
Anyway, I'm hungry. Food calls me. There's a chicken thing in the fridge shouting 'EEEEEAT MEEEEEEE!' Can't you hear it?
