I am feeling all positive today, for some reason. It's a nice change.

I have been useful already, in that I have phoned the two recruiters who left me voicemail the other day, and arranged an interview with one of them (Monday morning, 10am). I have checked that I really can get to Theale if I need to, so I can apply for the three billion Theale-based jobs in the paper. I have had my scheduled phonecall from my doctor about counselling, which was helpful in reassuring me that the way I'm going about things is the right way and it doesn't matter if I phone people and am crap at them because they're used to that sort of thing.

I have also checked my bank account and I have already paid for the hotel room for the weekend, so I haven't got to pay any more for it tomorrow - and indeed, I can expect money back from aardnebby rather than paying out more :)

My next big batch of things to do involves prep for the Regional. I have to email Michael and organise character sheets and so on. Opinions from the floor: do I want to NPC in any of the venues I'm not playing? I only have Mage and Changeling characters these days, so anything else is fair game. I have NPCd for Masquerade and Forsaken in the past (but not Requiem) but I have very little concept of the rules.

Contact the STs, explain you have no idea of rules and how limited your idea of setting is, see if they want help.

Make sure you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy yourself too :)

I think my costume did most of the NPCing for me, you know :)

So far I'm only playing 2 games over the weekend, unless Michael does run two Mage sessions after all. So I've a lot of free time!

Theale is pretty easy to get to, I'm living there at the moment, so if you get a job based in Theale before November 14th when I move out of my Dad's and into my own centre Reading location, we could have lunch.
