Thursday, 8 September 2005 11:12 pmI am back. I am very tired. So tired I can hardly use html. I have bought so many books that fully two-thirds of them have been left behind, to the tender mercies of my father's car boot.
I have been in Tewkesbury, which was very pretty and nice and hot, with my father and, at various times, both my brothers, Robert, my godmother, her son, and two of my youngest brother's friends. I came home on the train from Cheltenham.
I have checked my email but catching up on LJ will be trickier. Tomorrow we are going to Bladelands, in Banbury this time. The house is revoltingly messy and horrible. I got rung up about a job on Wednesdayish, and there is a small possibility it might start on Monday, so there may be general upheaval. Or there may not - it's not all that likely. It would be nice, though, as I do desperately need the money.
Oh god oh god, I must go to bed. But this is LJ and i haven't had it for a week. I suspect the small hours will creep up on me.

Date: Thursday, 8 September 2005 10:57 pm (UTC)We got your marvellous invitation and will both be with you on the 17th. I tried to come up with suitable pirate names for the both of us (hence the delay in response) but, while 'Red-handed Robert' was fairly easy to produce, so far only 'Lusty Lucy' has presented itself as a possibility for me, and I feel my reputation needs no assistance on its accustomed downhill slide, so I will be avoiding that one. :)

Incidently. The weekend after next now appears to feature both Mage and Changeling in Birmingham if you fancy it.
