Mage; calling southern Cammies!

I have been alerted to the fact that there is very little left of the Camarilla Mage chronicle (boo, hiss). I want to actually play my character before the end of the world, so getting to some games would be good. However, I have completely lost track of which games happen when. I am based in Reading. I intend to transfer my character to London (from the defunct Oxford domain), and I can get to other places on trains.

Here's what I want to know:

1) Who's the DC for London Mage and what is their email address? (This is astonishingly difficult to find out.) Am I right in thinking that Michael Sweeney is still London Mage DST?
2) When and where is the next London game, and what 'weekend' is it (ie what is the regular slot)?
3) When and where is the next Birmingham game, and what 'weekend' is it (ie what is the regular slot)?
4) Are there other games in the area or further afield which I should consider attending? What are the details?
5) Are there regional or national games coming up which I should consider attending? What are the details?

I have plot of the glowing-forehead-symbol sort, and I am not above making OOC arrangements to ensure IC fun runs more smoothly, so if you are also playing a harshed_by_dave character and wish to meet with me at a particular game, please let me know. Ditto people who are sensible enough not to have glowing forehead symbols. Please point other people at this post if you think it's appropriate, and give me any other info you think would be handy.

Oh, Hatfield (also inhabited by glowing symbols) is the fourth weekend - Sunday afternoons. Southern Regional is at the Watford Moat House and is the fourth weekend of October.

This is all very handy. If you are Uber DC London for the next day or two, could you perhaps tell me what I will need to do to move from the extinct Oxford game to the London Mage game? Have I to get bizarre approvals, or can I do it just on DC/DST say-so? (Michael's already aware of my plan and happy with it.) Because I lack an existing current game I can't use the CRD webpages properly (none of my characters show up) so I can't put in an approval using those.

I didn't realise you were a Reading lass. Do you board game/CCG at all? If so, you should come to the White Knights (on Cheapside) on a tuesday evening sometime, we have lots of games going on, and lots of lovely people there. Am off there via pub fud in a few myself... :)

Never CCGd at all, but can be persuaded to board-game on occasion. I have chores to do tonight, and am away next week, but I might well make it in a fortnight's time! :)

Yes, meeting up would be great! What sort of thing might you enjoy doing? There are parks, cinemas, restaurants (and a great vegetarian cafe which I love despite being an omnivore), pubs, and all sorts of stuff.

The glowing-forehead-symbol plot is more than a little bizarre, and we are running out of time to work out what we should do with it. Hence gameage is necessary.

Monday 19th Sept I am free, and you're going in my calendar. There is a small possibility that I may get a job and therefore cease to be free then; if this happens I'll let you know, but it's very unlikely.

If you have an interest in or lack of objections to tasty vegetarian food, then I should probably introduce you to Cafe Iguana.

Hereare Google's directions from the College of Estate Management (on the Whiteknights campus) to St Mary's Butts, the road at the top of which is the Iguana. I suspect it takes some rather car-specific routes, I'm not entirely sure (I don't drive or cycle myself). Remind me nearer the time and I'll get you better directions, and describe the location of the cafe more clearly.

(IIRC) Birmingham runs on the 3rd Sunday, in the afternoon, in a pub called the Bright House, which is very close to New Street station.

Runnymede Mage is every first Sunday (I saw you could not make this one but maybe next?), and it is the nearest game to Reading that isn't in Reading :)
It is muchly fun, and the Hatfield and occasional Midlands people often go to it too :)

Hatfield and Runnymede both run mage games - Ross Howard and Paul Regan are the DSTs (both excellent blokes)

23rd-ish weekend of October is the Southern regional and last big UK game. Lead ST is me.

Harshed_by_Dave PCs will have some stuff from me (as Dave Mk2) before the weekend that should prove interesting for them.
