Assorted changes of plan. Have just rescheduled dentist to Tues 13th September, as have dozed on and off all morning and feel very tired and quite unwell - also have no money (25p) to get into town and about £25 in the bank. I may have additional money tomorrow, which may enable me to get to Oxford, but I can't be sure, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to manage that, especially as I've got to get to London the day after. Who'd've thought a camping trip would be so expensive?

I absolutely must eat something as I have avoided it because of teeth-cleaning shenanigans pre-dentist, and now I am ravenous. When I've eaten I'm going to do useful things like laundry, unpacking, purchasing household necessities, and generally Sorting Things Out.

I have just given you back the money I owed you.

However, getting the car fixed was horrendously expensive, so we're on pasta and cheese for the rest of the month. :(

What did you owe me? I owed you money still! My regular £100 from my dad should come through tomorrow, so I'm not *very* seriously in trouble, and he's also expecting to give me another chunk of cash in the near future. We can do pasta and cheese. We might even manage a little pesto :) *hug*

The car cost 224UKP to repair. :( I feel poor. But it's working now! No extraneous noise!

And more significantly than noise, no excess corrosion on the underside of the car, no nasty consequences for the engine, and no need for a new exhaust for the rest of the life of the car.

Woo and yay. Well done for sorting that out. I will charge up the iPod for the next batch of driving about, and now we will be able to hear it!

Are you still thinking about coming to see me on Thursday? If so, note that I will be awake from midnight until 4pm, but not after that. My bodyclock is b0rken and this is how I'm fixing it.

I hadn't heard from you (iirc) so wasn't sure! I would like to, but I don't know what time I can manage to get into London. Given my general unpunctuality and procrastinatory ways, after 4pm is a real possibility, and I wouldn't want to arrange something with you I wasn't sure I could keep to. Argh! I'm sorry, but perhaps another time would be better. :/ What're your thoughts?
