Today I have done various things. I went to the doctor, and got refills on my contraception and on the cream for my face, which seems to have been working recently and therefore to be worth using consistently. I also consulted him about my eyes; when I was little (under nine years old) I had an operation to correct a significant squint. It's a cosmetic thing - I don't have binocular vision and the operation did nothing to change that - but it realigned my eyes. Recently, over the last three months or so, I have noticed them drifting further out of alignment, such that it's noticeable. I wanted to ask whether this is to be expected, or something I should be concerned about. The doctor is going to write to appropriate ophthalmology department(s) and let me know the response.
I came home and finished the bridge for The Badger Song (v1 me, chorus
lanfykins, v2
borusa, bridge me). It amuses me greatly. I must try not to sing it so much I get sick of it before Shards - less than a week and a half to go, though. Many apologies to
raggedhalo.
Later on I did some more sewing. I've been trying out a new way of making trousers. I cut out the basic two pieces, and that should've been that. Unfortunately, I screwed up the measurements repeatedly, and the trousers now have two triangular pieces on each side, an insert on the backside, probably an insert on the front too, and are likely to need the legs lengthening too. I've quite a way to go before they'rre wearable. However, I will be disguising all the patches and weirdness with beads and dangly things, so they'll probably end up looking pretty cool.
