Thursday, 21 July 2005 03:13 pmToday so far I have:
- mucked about some more with tea-stained paper
- taught Robert how to make finger-cord
- ripped out half the seams of Robert's Boromir surcoat
- added three triangular gores and a lower neckline to same
- cut out a pile of patches to attach to said coat
- attached some
- made a weird string-thing to attach Robert's beer-bottle to his belt
still to do:
- mend two pairs of baggy trousers
- make an underdress
- make an overdress
- make a coif
- attach new strings to shoes
- stat (and find a name for) character
- help Robert make a book
I would like a pseudo-French-fantasy name for a female LARP character. Characteristics include independent, rebellious, active, musical. Thoughts very very welcome.

Melisende:
This girl's name was used in Old French. Its source is amal swint, an Ancient Germanic phrase meaning "Animal strength."
Bastienne
This girl's name is used in French. Its source is Sebastos, a male Greek name meaning "Revered."
Mirabelle
This girl's name is used in English and French. Its source is mirabilis, a Latin word meaning "Extrordinary."
This may be a link to French names:

This might be a list of names to do with music:

This is where I get most of my character names from, as it's got quite a lot of search combos.
Good luck with everything, and most importantly have a good weekend.
