Oxford!

Who'd meet up with me if I visited Oxford early next week - say Monday/Tuesday? I'm going to do something fun with diffrentcolours so need to work round when he's free, but would love to organise a pubmeet, picnic, meal in Edamame, or similar, as well. I could stay overnight if someone has crashspace. Anyone and everyone, please respond! :)

Right, I'm thinking I might come over on Tuesday, do picnic with whoever I can entice to the A&G meadow from lunchtime (sitting in the shade) and perhaps go for a drink and/or some food with you (and others if we care to invite them) in the evening? Does that work for you?

Ah, I'm silly, you're not working so in theory you're around in the daytime too. What do you think of the above plan? What would you like to do? :)

That sounds good to me. I had vague thoughts about going to the OxGoths pub meet in the evening, I'll see how things go.

I wouldn't mind meeting up. We have no sofa or anything like that for crash space but there's always room in a double bed. You would have to be up and out the house early though (and share said double bed in case implication wasn't obvious).

Though at krystyna's current track record she'll be away on business again. :)

Tuesday would be good for daytime stuff for me, or evening for both of us (but I'd have to take smallclanger to my parents' for pubmeet, which isn't a problem but might affect what time I could do anything).

yay ! a taimatsu in Oxfnord is a good thing, we've not seen you in far too long.

<organisation mode> i'm free Monday daytime (till around 6/7) and would love to meet up; i'm not yet sure if i'm going to be in Oxfnord on Tuesday, but if i am my day and evening are free. i can provide floorspace and spare bedding on Monday night (assuming arranging to meet up post evening plans is doable, which shouldn't be too hard), and on Tuesday if i'm in the city. Edamame is probably a bit beyond my budget, but pubmeet / picnic / similar sounds good. </om>

Exam processing season starts this Friday, so daytimes are going to be quite busy next week. However, it does look likely that I will be let out for a while on Monday lunchtime.

I'm not aware of anything in particular that would prevent me doing things in the evenings, but smallclanger is a limiting factor as bopeepsheep mentioned. Picnic would be nice, if we still have weather next week.

Having some problems logging in, but I would love to see you when you come up to Oxford! I finished my finals a couple of weeks ago, and have been pretty bored since then. Seeing a Taimatsu would be great.

Not sure *when* Edamame, though; Tuesday is all picnic and pub; can't replace pub with Edamame as it's so small, and some people would be less able to afford it.

Aiming to be there Tuesday; see my journal for pathetic attempts at making arrangements. But whether or not I can organize transport / accommodation, I'll try to be there, cos an Oxford picnic sounds like a cool thing!
