Histories happened and were generally very good. Everyone has already written it already, so I won't say more just now.

I have gone all quiet. I don't seem to have anything to say anymore. It's very odd. Partly, I know, it's because one or two of the major things on my mind are things I cannot currently share wth the world at large, much as I might want to. But otherwise, I have no idea, and it makes me quite sad that I am not writing things here. Thoughts welcome as to why I might have shut up shop for the present. Guesses as to what's on my mind also welcome if you find it entertaining to speculate. If you have any tps for encouaging myself to write agan, please let me know.

I still have a horrible cough. I'm off to bed.

THis time of year always causes me to hibernate a bit, I want to retreat into my own little cocoon, and then limit all communication to stuff that I initiate. So I tend to write less at this time of year as well. I sometimes feel like I need to shelter myself from outside. I don't know if that's how you're feeling, but it is nice to see you here, even for an instant.

I find sometimes that I need to reclaim headspace after a lot of company, and feel a bit "peopled out". I didn't on this occasion but I might well have done. and certainly have after big parties (including, or even especially those I've hosted) in the past.

I don't know if that is the reason, but if I had gone quiet after the weekend that is why I would have done.

My advice is to get some alone time for a day or so (maybe go for a nice walk somewhere, get some fresh air?), and then come back to us. Don't rush yourself.

I'm guessing what's on your mind is that you like somebody a little bit too much (and no, that's not based on anything I've observed about you, it's just, er, a common reason for not being able to mention stuff. :)
