Monday, 15 November 2004 10:06 amI am awake and alive. My clothes for work are clean and fairly un-wrinkled; I have yoghurt for breakfast; but I have a sore throat which is giving me the beginnings of a croak and I can't get the Plan Your Journey page from http://www.nationalrail.co.uk to load the damn railway page took ages to load, but it's there now. Phew.
So, just the throat to worry about. I will be off down to the Co-op in a minute to buy painkillers and things to make soothing drinks with - I hope they have lemons.
Why does this have to happen now?

Date: Monday, 15 November 2004 10:28 am (UTC)Actually, no. That's probably A Bad Thing: half of your LJ friends list will be thinking 'Husky' and seeing mental images of dogs being strapped into complicated leather harnesses. This is not work-safe and we really don't need it on a Monday morning.
Mind you, dogsleds and shouting 'mush' are probably a perfectly reasonable alternative to the vagaries of RailTrack.
