I've just been pinning up my new cream corduroy trousers; they're too flared for me to take them up properly, arse arse arse. But I've found a reputable drycleaners in Wimbledon which will do it in a couple of days for £9.50, which seems fine to me. I'd really like to have them available to wear when I go to France next week.

The weather is atrocious and the wireless keeps dying, which is damn annoying. Stupid machine!

I have begun reading The Full Cupboard of Life which is the fifth in Alexander McCall's No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. Is good so far.

Am continuing to plan and organise my weekend and make massive lists of Stuff.

I've still to get round to reading some of those my mum gave me - she's a big fan and generally has very good taste. Be happy to lend you the ones I have if you don't have 'em.

If the wireless keeps dying (I'm assuming you mean pc/mac <->wireless access point or router) update the firmware. Then update the wireless drivers on the computers.

If you mean wireless phone, then get a warranty replacement.

Thanks for the tip - I'll try it if it continues. It's a PC laptop talking to an Apple Airport and a pile of Macs of various sorts. The laptop frequently decides there's actually no network at all, and even if there is, it's not a nice network and it's not going to connect to it. But the boyfriend is taking it back home for a week starting tomorrow, so I haven't got to worry about it :)
