taimatsu | Good and Bad

Good thing: I got a Mystery Parcel this morning. It turned out to be a mini-hamper from Liz, containing chocolate brownie cookies and some 'spiced apple' scented candles. It is great and made me very cheerful this morning :)

Another good thing: Got card from Dominique, French godmother of brother Giles. Am invited to stay chez Werbier in Orly between 23 and 31 August. The end of that period is the Union Shards event, but I'm going to go from the Monday to the Wednesday night/Thursday morning. So I get the whole of that week and the weekend off.

Good thing: Have been hit with plot-consequences hammer in changeling, in a slightly predictable fashion, but nevertheless, will be fun.

Another good thing: LJMeme has produced me a mutual crush. (Not that it was unexpected, but still, it's nice to feel appreciated.)

Good thing: have found location of massive fabric shop right near Tooting Bec station. Will get over there ASAP.

Another good thing: Robert and I are having a silly picnic tomorrow! In the park across the road! I am going to make enormous sandwiches!

Bad thing: Stupid father is going out and leaving me with just Hugo for an hour without telling me, just assuming it's okay. Am pissed off.

Bad thing: Going to miss Central Regional - cannot justify being away this weekend as almost everyone else is away too.

On balance things are good. But I'm still a bit annoyed about the last two items.
