taimatsutoday involved much shopping. Way, way huge quantities of shopping. is small brother's birthday tomorrow.
have been wrapping presents. wrapped fluffy monster puppet in see-through tissue backed with purple paper with eyes drawn on and the words 'It's Alive!' Wrapped frisbee in brown paper with foam space invaders attached. Wrapped mini-slinky in brown paper with spirals drawn on. Wrapped book in brown paper with collaged letters spelling 'HUGO' on the front. Also made card with dragon papercut on.
Is all good. Must sleep now, though.
Also, did you know that you can prepare cherries exactly like nectarines if you want to remove the stones? It's just fiddlier. Boy have i been doing that a lot lately.
and tomorrow i go to theatre with marvellous bnoyfriend. yay!
