(If you are not a Camarilla UK roleplayer, please ignore these!)

First the easy question: can anyone tell me anything about the Southern Regional Mage game? (Or the Changeling game, actually, but I can't do both.) I am interested in maybe going but it will be quite an effort as Robert is elsewhere, so I'd need to be pretty sure I'd enjoy myself. Any plot hooks, other character who will be around, great reasons to go, all welcome.

Secondly, the hard question: why do people seek out interaction with my characters so rarely? What am I doing wrong? I have a few thoughts but I want input.

The boss had another outbreak of goth (beyond the sound for bauhaus, seeing the damned, being mates with alan moore) today, when he turned out to have to be the one to explain to me why the goths go to Whitby.

Well yeah, but unlike you and him I am not interested in such gothlike things.

I don't know. I think Claire is super good. But I don't really play very much at the momement, and tend to not play in Downtime becuase I like the game at the games... if that makes sense.

Then I fail to make it to Oxford or 2 (or is it 3) months in a row. Grr... I hate not having enough time for everything I want to do. And when I have enought time - I don't have enought money. (Though Currently I am living with in my means easily - even though its on less money than I ever had before. Which is quite cool)

Cool. Well I don't mind. I like email. But I think mainly things should happen at games. :) I look forward to getting your email.

I play so many. If I only played one or two I would have so much more free time. To be board in problaby though...

1st.
Southern Regional Mage game being sorted this sunday, so announcement should go out sunday night/monday.

2nd.
I have done a few times, but sadly you dont play much, time in play is essential to make contacts and generally become part of characters lives. Its hard to hold up IC relations with a character when you rarely see the player :(

Come to more games would help I think. Join a cabal (in mage) or a motley, or whatever. It requires a fair bit of activity to maintain IC contacts, believe me I know.

Well... thats a question that a lot of people are asking right now. I guess it depends. I think it may be fun to work for things, if the Mage STs have anything to say about it we _will_ make a difference, and I dont think the YoF is a death sentence, it _can_ be survived, for the smart, the lucky or the cautious.

I'll be at Runnymede on sunday, the Regional (3rd weekend) (STing) and Reading (4th Saturday) (STing), finally Oxford (4th Sunday). Email sent on that.
