My dad isn't going to Florida after all, but I'm still spending the same period of time in Wimbledon. Last Sunday we went out for my birthday, and my mother was very tired in the evening, and she has not got any less tired since, despite sleeping all the time. I think she's basically been in bed all week and not responding much to anything, which is bad news.

I will be back briefly for the gig on Thursday, in Croydon for Daisy a week on Saturday and, the next day, at Reading Changeling and hopefully (if I can cadge a lift with someone) at Oxford Mage. Then I might stay on for my Japanese class on the Monday. Depending on how things are I might go right back to Wimbledon. The weekend after that (ie not the coming one or the one after, but the one after that) is Valley of Nia, and I have no idea right now if I'll be able to go, or if I'll even want to. Besides, my trousers have split at the crotch and I haven't mended them yet. I did laundry today, though. I achieved something. And
