morning from hell

I should have left 30 minutes ago because I was going to drop something off at the dr's before work - now I'll have to ask for half an hour off about 11 to get there before 12.

I'm having this sodding party tomorrow, I don't have anything prepered except a little music, and anyhow there are going to be ten people present, if I'm lucky, in a room I booked for thirty. There I go again, overestimating my own popularity. And my parents aren;t going to be able to help out in the way I anticipated - food yes, but actual presence around the time the thing needs preparing, room decorating, etc, no.

I'm tempted to cancel, but a couple of people are planning to come from Cambridge, and there may well be people planning to turn up who just haven;t bothered replying. I hope so, anyway.

And on top of that, my hair looks like a haystack, I can;t think what to wear that won;t make me look like a waterbuffalo with a spare tyre, and my skin has gone itchy and sensitive again, not that it ever isn;t.

And now I am going to be late for work too. Thank God Edward is away in Germany.

Don't sweat about party things, dear. If you need help in any way then I am hoping to be back in oxford by about 2/3ish in the afternoon so can help decorate and whatever then. And I'm sure you have a lot of things that don't make you look as described. Well, if you do have things that make you look like that you've never worn them when I've been around anyway.

I would say that you look quite attractive and that you definitely looked nice on wednesday night when I saw you but I'm afraid it might sound like some dodgy chat up line so I won't. :)
