One Queer Eye and a Chinese takeaway later, Sarah's green shirt is DONE. Despite the evil green polyester thread of doom, which snapped, caught on everything, and clogged up the machine like nobody's business. Never using it again. Shirt hemmed with black thread, dammit. Shirt has lovely hand-sewn buttons and loops, is big enough at the bottom (fingers crossed for the rest of it!) and has hand-embroidery at the neck (but only because the evil thread was evil at me).

Now for a flag. Double-sided, no less. Argh. And a jacket. Or two. Or three. I may not sleep at all tonight.

I attempted the flag, and it is a complete nightmare, because all my good acrylic paints have gone crappy. I am going to sleep. There are currently no jackets, though if I can cut yours out quickly in the morning it won't take long to actually sew, as it'll be two shoulder seams and any hems I can manage. No owl, though. I'll do that for the next event. Sorry.

I am going to go and have nightmares about blotchy pink phoenixes.
