no subject

Today has gone pretty well. I was at work on time, I did lots of work and stayed late, and I have managed to buy TWO NEW SKIRTS! *boing*

They're both from wonderful M&S. One skirt is black, light weight, fitted, knee length, with small white dots and a frill round the bottom. Is nice. The other one is long, semi-fitted, and is red with a black and sand-coloured line drawing pattern of flowers. Is also nice. May wear for birthday party with black top etc.

Yay clothes.

On the down side, today's work consisted of shelving university prospecti. This involves getting rid of the old ones. I had huge piles of them - and they are immensely heavy. I had to carry them out back to the rubbish heap, and have got backache as a result, not to mention the papercut I got when I started this task yesterday. And I have accounts to look forward to tomorrow *sigh*

But overall, today is good.

Debating whether or not to go to animesoc tonight. On the one hand, it would be nice to see people and watch mad Lain and Nadesico etc., but on the other hand, I did spend all of last weekend watching Utena, and I do need to sort my character for Sunday's game, and my back hurts. Hmph. Will think.

don't stress about your character, will mail you some bits and bobs tomorrow and so long as the character's there stats are really easy to knock up. Probably the best thing is if I meet up with you on sunday before the game and we go through it then. When's good for you?

Whenever is fine for me - i have nothing else on on Sunday as far as I can see. So it depends when you're in Oxford. Afternoon tea? Pub? Meet somewhere? Come round here? As you like :)

Yes, that would be good. I probably ought to sort out times with Mike first, but as soon as I've done that we can arrange things. Email is probably best place to do this. D'you want to come here or meet up somewhere else?

I'll probably be dragging an enormous suitcase as I'm intending to go stay with my sister in Exeter for a bit. If there is somewhere we can dump that for a while, will be good.

Umph. I have Michael arriving in St. Clements (my house, other end of Oxford from the trains) between 12 and 12.30. Being at train station for 12.50 is not feasible, and 1.50 is a little inconvenient.

If it works for you, 3.00 or around then would be best. Is there a train that arrives at 2.50, or thereabouts? We could do G&D's; we could talk costume details; I dunno, fun stuff :) I should have a tidy bedroom by tomorrow, so having people back here is possible.

Sorry to be awkward about times, but I do have to get my character sorted out when Michael has a time slot.
