Oh yes.

Various things reminded me. Public service announcement follows.

I have a facial skin disorder known as rosacea (ros-AY-sha) which causes parts of my facial skin to become red and inflamed. It is connected to frequent and severe blushing. It is not curable, only controllable, and it can be very uncomfortable and even painful, not to mention embarrassing. That said, it is not *cute* when I blush, it is upsetting and damaging to my skin, and comments on it make me uncomfortable.
