Recent activities

Went to party in Cambridge last night. Well, play readthrough in the afternoon, party in the evening. It was very good fun. I met lots of nice people - some I hadn't met at all before, some I only knew from LJ, and some I had met already but whom I got to know better. There was delicious food and interesting conversation and it was generally fabulous. The play-reading was excellent fun too. We didn't get home till about 3.30 am, and so I am very snoozy this morning.

More later, perhaps. Oh sugar, we're out of bread and I am totally without money of any kind. Looks like I'm eating pasta today, then.

no subject

Am feeling oddly floopy. Not with it. Not finding ways to entertain myself. Desperately trying not to just go to bed, as that will mess up sleep patterns and make me feel ill. I have a scratchy throat (started yesterday morning, actually - it's not worse, but it's not gone either). I have done two loads of laundry today, but nothing else useful. Robert should be back quite soon, I hope.

I was just pondering what I could take to fend off a lurgy attack, and remembered the echinacea tablets my mother got me a while ago. They are *vile*; they taste of liquorice, which I detest, and they are very big, so you cannot swallow them without tasting them. Nasty as they are, though, they might help.

I guess I should move 'register with doctor' up my To-Do list.
