Oh God. I am supposed to go to the Northeast Regional this weekend. There is no way in hell I want to go and be cold in a youth hostel a long way away while I have the remains of the flu, just to play two games I'm not particularly bothered about. Um, no.

Then again, neither do I want to spend the weekend in bed, alone, while Robert goes off to play a game he *is* enthused about. Bloody roleplaying.

Is it only Changeling he wanted to go to? As currently the timeslot for that is 11am on Saturday to about 1/2pm - If he is really only enthused about this one game I'm sure that you could work something out where he was only away for part of the day - and therefore you weren't alone ill *all* weekend.

I do think it's very wise to go see your GP though, you have been very, very poorly sounding for a while now - best to check these things and see if they can help clear it up any faster. Hope you feel better soon.

Just when Nick and I are going to be away for the weekend (at kmazzy's so I can hardly complain!

Otherwise if you could bear non-Robert company we could come and look after you for a bit.

To be honest the house is such an incredible, festering, horrible pile of mess that I could probably never face you again if you came over and looked at it. (And I'm acually not exaggerating.) So it's a very kind thought, but it's perhaps just as well you aren't free this weekend :) Sooner or later we will get it decently clean, and then we will invite you over :)
