taimatsuI didn't go home after all. Instead I tortured my Switch card, buying £100 worth of fabric and notions, mostly for the Return of the King party next weekend. I am 75% done on the first of nine garments for it...
Next weekend looks lke this:
Friday night - panic sewing.
Saturday morning - Dress up as hobbit. Go to Newbury; go to party. Eat lunch and dinner at party.
Saturday evening - Leave for train station at maybe 8.30pm or thereabouts. Travel to Wimbledon, arriving 10.30ish.
Sunday morning - see parents. Eat lunch. Leave at about 5pm for Victoria and then Oxford.
Sunday evening - Arrive at the Oxford Union for about 6.30, in time for the Oxford AGM and game. Cadge lift home to Reading with someone.
Am I mad? I think so. I forgot about the game when I told my mother I'd see her next Sunday...
