Home now. Feel like death still. Ought to be at Japanese in 15 minutes, but I have decided not to go so I can go to bed at about 8.30 (an hour before the class ends). My head feels like it belongs to someone else. I was bad, I bought chocolate and ate it. only a little chocolate, but still Bad.

Yup definitely. Cutting back on it is one thing if you feel like you've been eating too much, but trying to cut out completely and then feeling guilty when you fail doesn't work very well with most things.

I tend to find if I want to give something up completely for a while it helps to have a set period, so you know you'll be able to have some again afterwards. Lent is good for this :-)

Another approach is to decide how much is sensible to have in a week and to get a box and put your week's choc ration in it at the beginning of each week, then you can eat as much as you like out of the box, without feeling bad about it, and without going overboard.
