taimatsuNot quite so cold as I was, since I've turned the heating back on. It will go off again at 2, though, so I should go to bed before then. But Robert won't be back till 3, grr grr grr, and I was considering staying up for him. I think I will just go to bed - I'm tired anyway.
I want chocolate, dammit, and I have none. I think I am too wedded to chocolate and must break off our relationship. Ah, I have chocolate drink powder! But no, I must resist.
Must also stop eating the cherry tomatoes. They are big, fat, tight, juicy ones and I want to eat them all. However, it would be Wrong. And would probably do Bad Things to my insides. Half the tub is Enough.
Must work out where Waterstone's is on campus and go to buy book there when I go back to work. Ooooh, rice salad with sausage for lunch on Monday, I think. Mmmmmmm. Plastic boxes, yessss. Pre... no, will not do Gollum impression over plastic boxes. Is way too sad. Must also pretend do not have Good Homes magazine downstairs, particularly prized for its bathroom/kitchen planning article. Of course, it is unopened, and anyway my mother bought it. Still feel rather Stepfordwife about it, though.
Who got carol singers over the holidays? We only had one lot, a pair of kids who sang the first verse of Jingle Bells out of tune over and over until my dad gave them two quid to go away. There were BSL carollers in the Bentalls centre in Kingston before Christmas - was most impressed.
