Not feeling 100% healthy. (When I say this it usually involves uncomfortable digestive issues, which is why I don't go into details.)
Have done some useful stuff, though. Was up earlyish, 8.30. Ate breakfast for a change. Argued with self on loo about assorted Christian doctrinal issues (salvation by faith vs works). Have been slowly tidying up some of my junkheap of craft materials, and making a shopping list of materials I want to buy when I have spare money. If I have spare money.
I have some job-hunt-related emails to send. I have some friends to get back in touch with. I have some roleplay characters to stat up and a story to write. I have a dishwasher to empty and laundry to do. I have a house to tidy, and a cat to stroke. I have hiragana to revise, and, this evening, a Japanese class to go to.
I am confused by some of our windows, which seem not to shut properly while also seeming to be as shut as they will go. I want to cut up and re-shape one of my t-shirts but I am worried about totally ruining it, so I haven't yet. I want to stencil onto another shirt, but again, I am nervous about getting it wrong.
I started reading 'The Dark Lord of Derkholm' by Diana Wynne Jones last night. Last Thursday I bought four books from a charity shop: 'Sushi for Beginners' by Marian Keyes; 'Wideacre' by Philippa Gregory; a collection of three books, one of which I already have, by Wilkie Collins; and 'Ken Hom's East Meets West Cuisine'. Five pounds and twenty pence for the four, which I could ill afford, but I think in the end it's worth it :)
I am going to go and take my cereal bowl downstairs and attempt to clear up bits of the kitchen or bathroom at the same time.
