Bad House Day

You know Bad Hair Days? Those days when your hair just looks awful and there's nothing you can do to improve it at all, and you get frustrated and annoyed because it's so bad, and then your mood affects everything else you do?

Today I had a Bad House Day.

I'm not going to rant, because it's not much use (and besides I already let off steam in a provate post). Suffice it to say things went a bit pear-shaped, I lost my house-key, and then was completely unable to find it because the house is still such a tip. I did a few small jobs but couldn't tackle the really big things.


I calmed down by cleaning the mirror in the bedroom and then revisiting an IRC channel I used to frequent ages ago - and finding new LJ friends from online and RL. Am very happy to have discovered you people :) Rachel, how did you come across me?

I'm feeling a little better now - Robert came home and cleaned up the CAT POO ON THE WINDOWSILL BY MY DESK and lent me his key. I went shopping and bought chocolate raisins. Three and a half hours later, they are all gone. I have fruit downstairs too, but I'm not eating that yet because otherwise I won't eat Real Food for supper.

I really should get out more. And get some serious clearing-up done.

not if it's going to make you too full to eat a proper balanced meal involving carbohydrates and protein and vegetables :)

Actually I found you cos I was browsing my friendsfriends page (evil, evil distraction mechanism that it is), and I thought, oh, taimatsu has really cool anime icons, so I went to look at your userpics to see what other ones you had, and that allowed me to realize that I actually know you.
