Neat and precise.... That's how I think of dormice. I don't think their nests are very tidy.
Perhaps I was thinking of your Boggan, who struck me very much that way (and I probably know her better than I know you).
I hope no one decides to suppress you in a teapot.
Anyway, I thought I read somewhere that these shoulder-daemons are some sort of hidden 'dark twin'.
