I don't have lots of characters to list. Here they are in chronological order.

Clare Stannard (Mage, Orphan)
First character; has my middle name and the surname of a then co-worker. I picked the name so that I would remember to answer to it IC :)

Helen Harding (C/A NPC, Nos ghoul)
This one's more convoluted. I used to read a collaborative online RP/fan-fiction called 'the Otaku Wars!' which was (and is) conducted on the newsgroup alt.fan.sailor-moon. I read for about a year and a half, all told, and planned at one time to bring in my own character (an Author Avatar) whom I named Helen Harding. I picked the name because I liked the alliteration, and wanted a short snappy first name. I never brought in the character because my schedule was always too full, and by the time I had free time, the better authors had got bored and left.

When I got handed a nosy, twisted ghoul NPC by Simon, I had to think of a name rather fast; 'Helen Harding' came to mind since I had never used it. The associations with 'hell' and 'hard' went beautifully with her dual life as an RS teacher by day, fetish performer/stage dominatrix by night. I'm only sorry the name got used up so damn fast.

Rowan (Changeling, Boggan)
Brand new character; was really an NPC but I stole her from Kat. I couldn't think of names, and when she was asked it repeatedly by Ella (Kat's Eshu) I had to think very fast. Still no surname. 'Rowan' came up on the mental flashcards because of the Boggan's earthiness, and the general association with woodlands and natural magic. Her skills seem to be centering on sewing and healing, and she's shaping up to be really fun to play. I'm at work on the costume as I write :)
