I've started a Google Reader account. I might use it for sharing interesting things - my public page will be here if I do.

Three questions: first, am I right in thinking that 'starring' things is the way to keep track of especially interesting items, like bookmarking? Secondly, who else uses it? Do you share things? And thirdly, suggest your favourite RSS feeds! I already have some stuff like BBC NEws, The Onion, The Register, Craftzine, etc; is there anything unusual that you read regularly? Blongs outside LJ also welcome, webcomics likewise.

Language Log (http://itre.cis.upenn.edu/~myl/languagelog/) has occasional gems although I find rather a lot of it to be stamp-collecting additional examples of things they've already remarked upon these days.

The Life and Opinions of Andrew Rilstone (http://andrewrilstone.blogspot.com/) can be quite entertaining.

Stephen Fry (http://stephenfry.com/blog/) has produced a few quite good articles though I confess I'm a bit behind on them already.

There's always the DELGA and NO2ID feeds.

Personally, I use Akregator as a reader.

Neil Gaiman's blog is always entertaining, and he posts a lot of interesting links as well.
