Did you ask your doctor about mefanamic (I think it's called) acid?

I'm afraid I don't know whether it works alongside The Pill, but from what I've been told about the mechanism is uses, I don't see why it shouldn't, and it might help.

Speaking as the resident expert, mefanamic acid is not uncommonly prescribed concurrently with the combined pill, and I'm not aware of any contra-indications. If you have stomach pains mid-pack you may wish to review whether you're taking them consistently, and if not get closer to the same time of day each day.
