I've decided not to go to Bladelands after all - I'm just too worn out after all my dashing around, and I want to spend some time sorting things out here in Reading. I have very little money, and am feeling a bit fragile and people-wary, so I won't be travelling far - I still won't be making it to C+Y's party in Cambridge, I'm afraid. I will probably go to London tomorrow to collect the bags I left for my father to take back (as they contain Agatha Christie novels I haven't read!) and take the opportunity to go to the London Mage game. The whole thing won't cost me more than £15 total, I think, which is tolerable.

Robert has left for Banbury via Berinsfield; he has been busy helping Adrian move from down the road to the wilds of Sandhurst or somewhere, so I've seen him only briefly today. I'm really looking forward to getting hold of him on Sunday afternoon. :)

Does anyone in the Reading area want to do something on Sunday lunchtimeish? crocodilewings, aardnebby, I'm looking at you...

Edited to add: Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha, I made the right call. Thunderstorm out there now. I am all cosy indoors and I will be sleeping in a HOUSE tonight, not a TENT. And I have a TUMBLE-DRYER.
