Wednesday, 20 July 2005 02:23 pmToday is better. Robert and I sorted some things out last night which has reduced my stress levels somewhat; this morning I organised more laundry and am starting to have a noticeable impact on the Clothing Mountain (which needs a better name). I have lost my phone (it's in the front room somewhere but is now out of charge so I can't call it) but have found Robert's wallet, which is a pretty good trade-off. I have just been to lunch with
claire_wain and had delicious potato and general lovely talking and then a trip to Fabric Land! where I managed to spend less than ten pounds. Admittedly this is because they didn't have the crimson muslin I wanted, but nevertheless it's good. I have all the other necessary stuff plus some handy remnants which will be great for Robert's costume. I'll be trying to make my pseudo-medieval slip-on dress out of three hippo-tutu circles and a Roman undertunic - wish me luck!
Note to self: it's cream polycotton.

Date: Wednesday, 20 July 2005 03:20 pm (UTC)Bah indeed!
I have been UUUUUUUSEFUL since I got in, but not quite useful enough because we are out of things for me to wipe surfaces with. Am off to Co-Op for FOOD and kitchen paper shortly. :)
But I cleaned the grill-pan! All of it! All of the fat! And I pulled out the vile disgusting hair and nameless gunge from the kitchen sink plughole! :)
