The Shape Of My Weekend

Tonight involves Robert, yummy food cooked by my dad, and some family friends.
Tomorrow involves clubbing, then crashing chez Dave W.
Saturday involves a morning mooch round Camden and then heading back home, to be around for the afternoon and evening.
Sunday involves some packing and then heading out to Reading Changeling and Oxford Mage/Garou.

It would be cool to know who I'm likely to be seeing at these events - do tell me if you're going to be around.

Today I have to:
do some laundry
take two pairs of trousers and a shirt to the drycleaners
hunt through local charity shops for a black blouse
find a fabric shop and buy some black pinstriped fabric and ribbons
do more laundry
book Eurostar tickets for the crack of dawn on Monday
then call Dominique and tell her when I'm arriving
do some IC stuff with Steve at 2.30

Sorry, I should've emailed. That was needlessly rude of me - I apologise.

It's a combination of needing to be at home so my dad gets a break, and not being quite up to the 'new people' thing. I'm finding I need comfortingly familiar faces around at the moment. I'd really like to see you, though, and I'll try to sort out a way of doing that in a more familiar setting when I get back from Wales after the bank holiday.

that said, I think there are a few people there you've met - such as redheaded Clare of the Egham LARP crowd? Or was it just Robert at that party? Either way, there's likely to be some overlap.

The reason I'm down is to get some modelling shoots in, so it depends on the timing of those. However, any and all of lunch, galleries and shopping sounds good :)

I will, undoubtedly, be in some variant on the jeans and T-shirt theme. Might try to borrow wehmuth's "Vampires aren't real, get over it" T-shirt in honour of the occasion.

I am a big fan of the National Portrait Gallery, and will go there any chance I get (and then buy All The Postcards). But I'm very open to other suggestions. Is there anywhere you're keen on?

I like the Portrait as well. I'm also a big fan of the Tate Modern. It depends on what exhibitions are showing at the beginning of September, I suppose - I'll keep an eye on the tube adverts when I come down tomorrow :)

I would hope nobody *actually starts roleplaying*. Please God no. I shall kick them if they do, with my pointy boots of pain. (The pain will mostly be for me, as they are very slightly too small.)

That sounds like a good starting place :) it is free, apart from the special exhibitions, but there's *lots* to see beside them. yay! I'm waiting for the photographer to get back to me, and then I'll let you know which day we're talking about and what time :)

If you and Robert wanted to come to the pub with me and Chris, by the way, that would also be very cool :)

Robert is around in London at quite specific times, usually Thursdays and bits of the weekend, and Monday and Tuesday are two evenings he definitely cannot do (has band practice one night, bridge the other). But other days could be possible, depending on when you're around.

Not a big plan of clubbing as you may recall and getting to and from Oxford would be problematic even if I had a PC to play.
