I might well make it to B-Movie tonight. Who else (apart from the lovely Sally) is likely to be there?

I had been feeling blah and apathetic, but I have just moved the sleeping bags from the floor and made my bed, and I feel better. I have been posting on the Shards IC board, and am inspired to do some drawing (of Kul-Tha tents and the like), so I will try to drag myself away from the computer for a bit.

I plan to be in Wimbledon for the weekend - Robert will come and relieve my boredom on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Robert and I saw King Arthur last night. I enjoyed it. I was even able to watch the battle scenes, which I usually can't. I'm not saying it was a great feat of cinematic artistry - I just had fun watching it. And Tristram was remarkably sexy, for some reason. I like the quiet ones.

It is raining like mad here. I hope the weather turns properly nice before the Bank Holiday, or I'll have to make myself a hood with a waterproof lining for Shards (and I really haven't the time).

David will be there. You are both mad for going to a club with insufficient (nonexisting?) climate control and a reputation for crowding problems in the summer, though.

'Course, the idea of going clubbing strikes me as mad at the best of times. If I want to be beaten silly by people in fetish clothing, I'll hire a professional...

Bah, why do we never manage to go to B Movie the same months?

just make a hood from a a close weaver/felted wool and it will be water proof enough.

If you really want I can send a hood along not that I am actually making the event.

Very few people attempt to dress the theme - I won't be attempting to this month. Theres no enforced dress code at all - admittedly 90% of the people there will be wearing black, but you will find the odd person in a suit or casual trendy wear in there too. Don't worry about it too much - it's not a club where people dress up and be pretentious, it's more a club where people let their hair down and have some fun. :)

Oh well, you're in for a treat. Though I've sworn off B-Movie on account of overcrowding, overheating, and people who can't tell the difference between dancing and throwing yourselves at people. Music's good, apparently some people like it like that.
