Violin woes
Wednesday, 4 August 2004 04:31 pmI just tried to tune the violin properly (ie to the proper notes, instead of just relatively okay) and found that one friction peg is totally, completely STUCK and will not move a bit. In trying to sort this out, I broke one of the other strings. So I am a tad frustrated, and the violin is currently useless.
If I get my act together, though, I can look up local music shops, go to one, buy new strings and ask for help with the friction peg. I ought to do this soon, or it will never get done. At any rate, no matter how annoying this experience may be, it does mean my family are spared any more squeaking and wailing for a little while.
I have begun a new community intended for Camarilla UK members. It's a sister community to
shadow_writers, and it's called
shadow_artists. The idea is fairly obvious. I have put up a good few recent pieces there already, so if anyone not connected to the Cam is mad enough to want to see my drawings of satyrs and geeks, head on over.
This has encouraged me to sort out my website, so I'm busy planning it out at the moment. I might even have actual content this time. And to that end, a quick question: what would you like to see on a website run by me? Anything goes - post a comment!
