Foooooooood.
Sunday, 2 May 2004 11:56 pmMmmmm mmmmm mmmmm. MMMMMMMMmmm Mmmmmm MMMMMMMMMm.
In other words, today's food was reeeeeeeally good. Brunch was tuna and bean salad prepared by ME; butter beans, chickpeas and borlotti beans with tuna, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice, piled on a slice of chunky multigrain bread, with chopped shallots and fresh basil leaves on top. It was *great*.
This evening, we had pork loin marinaded in teriyaki for a couple of hours then grilled, on top of a stirfry of thick udon noodles, savoy cabbage, shallots (again!) and finely chopped garlic, which was cooked in the wok with a dash of soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil, and the remnant of the marinade. It was pretty wonderful :)

Date: Sunday, 2 May 2004 11:33 pm (UTC)I only had pork steaks in spicy tomato sauce for dinner and the same again tomorrow (saves work and washing up). Was still very good.
Last night I had scallops fried in the pan with some pancetta and lots of garlic. Yum indeed. :o)
