Thursday, 29 April 2004 01:49 pmThey're taking away the junk! Woohoooooo! There goes the radiator! And the sofa! YAAAAAAAY!
In other news, I got up at, like, noon. I have been searching online for alternatives to Plumbs Covers for redoing the new sofa. I have found some ugly canvas things from Index which are not fitted, not in the right colour and will cost £100 for a large sofa. I have found http://www.furniturecovers.co.uk which looks slightly cheaper than Plumbs but not quite so user-friendly (they want a deposit before their first visit), and has no obviously appealing fabrics. I'm trying to remember if my mother actually offered to pay for this; whether I'd take her up on it if she had is another matter. I think it's going to be more expensive than we hoped.
