Possibly deliberate self-sabotage - I have to be functional and have a tidy front room for 9am tomorrow^Wtoday. I might sleep down here on the sofa. Salon.com and an mp3 player on Shuffle are a bad combination.

Tuesday, 27 April 2004 10:26 amHalf-ten in the morning, four and a half hours' sleep, and I have already been productive! The sofa-covering chappie came and showed me fabric and quoted prices. There are some possibilities, although they don't have many good dark greens available and it's a bit pricier than I expected. Will have to see. Have quote, anyway, and will call him if we want to go further.
Then I phoned the council, added the lawnmower to Thursday's bulky waste pickup, and paid for it over the phone. That's today's major jobs polished off. I might go back to sleeeeeeeeep...
Oh, and I can now play 'Handle With Care' by the Travelling Wilburys.
I want to find a small repertoire of *sexy* songs for my Mage character to sing. I note that said character is a lesbian, so anything too overtly heterosexual won't fly. I have a couple - 'Sexuality' by k d lang is great for singing in a lustful half-whisper. But I need more! Tell me your favourite sexy song ever, and then tell me your favourite sexy song that could be sung to an acoustic guitar.

Tuesday, 27 April 2004 05:48 pmHave just pulled up most of the dandelions in the front garden. Obviously not all their roots, but it's a start. As they come up again I can kill them with scary weedkiller and get rid of them for good. But now my hands have splotches of ingrained dirt, and my arms itch like HELL.
