Today

Today I got up late, spodded online, had a shower, packed suff together and went to the University. I had lunch with Elinor and Vicky from work, which was Most Cool and Groovy, Elinor took my books and keys back for me, and I went to have my meeting with my boss's boss's boss. It went well, and I think I'm going to get what I want. The procedures I wanted reviewed are being reviewed, the specific problem I had with them seemed to faintly horrify the personnel guy who was there, so that ought to get dealt with, and the person I want to give me a reference will be allowed to if she wants to. So yeah, it's all cool. And I feel like I did something instead of just sitting back and letting That Woman walk all over me, which makes me feel good. I went to see Verity afterwards in Archives, which was really good. Verity is very nice indeed, and was pleased to see me.

So now I just have to plan what to do with the rest of my life. Any ideas, anyone?

Tomorrow I am going to see my family. I will be back in time for Japanese on Monday evening. Then I am going to finish planning my birthday party, which will have to be small and select given our major lack of space. *sigh*
