kaet commented recently about there being two villages called Frog End, one on each side of Cambridge. Further to this factlet, there appear to be no less than four villages/hamlets/farms called Green End, all in the same vicinity of Cambs/Herts. I note two instances at least of 'Church End'. Also, within the space of about two square miles there are villages called Camps End, Castle Camps, and Shudy Camps. Everywhere is called '___ End'. Or '___ Green'. I'm tempted to see if there's an 'End Green' to match the 'Green End'. There is a four-house hamlet called 'Over'.We have Crow End, Duck End, the aforementioned Frog End(s), Maggots End, Oxen End, Snailwell, *Ugley*, *Dullingham*, *Commercial End*, *Yelling*... I couldn't make it up. Oh, and specially for
clawboy42, there's a 'Craig's End' round that way too :)
