It occurred to me a while ago that I really like looking at my reflection in coach or train or bus windows, when it's dark outside. That sounds awful and vain, but that's not quite it. With windows like those, there is a double layer of glass, so you get two reflections overlaid on each other with a slight offset. The effect is to blur and almost airbrush the image, so that, along with the standard dim lighting on nighttime coach journeys, I really can look like an arty photograph; just dark hair and pink cheeks and a smile, and no blemishes and flaws and over-enthusiastic blushing. Odd.
BSL again yesterday. We were doing signs for 'teacher', 'student', 'learn', 'college', and so on, consolidating work from the previous weeks. At one point we had to choose one of the new signs form the list on the board and sign a sentence using it. I ssked for the signs for 'friend' and 'history' and signed 'I / have / friend / teacher// but / student / teacher // teaches / history //' Becky is useful :)
Have piles of tidying and stuff to sort before weekend. Is animesoc tonight but I think I won't go, too much to do. There's always next week
