I have eaten food, and now I feel sick. Robert is probaby coming down with the flu now. I have a lot to do before work tomorrow and I feel very poorly and pathetic. I just want to hide for about another week until I am properly well again.

Do you have to go back to work tomorrow? I know it's a long time to be absent (and I'm sure ME-sufferers are notorious for giving this kind of advice even when it isn't necessary), but would it not be better to get at least a bit more fully well and be sure that you won't go down with a relapse three days later?

If I don't I have to get a doctor's certificate, which would end up being more trouble than it's worth for just a day or two more off. So I *do* rather have to go back tomorrow, even if I then stay off another few days afterwards (though I hope that won't happen). I'll manage!

Here's hoping for a miraculous recovery between now and teatime then. Or at least that you get through tomorrow okay.
