Wednesday, 28 January 2004 10:52 amI'm so bored! I feel like I still need to stay in bed, but I am much more awake than I was yesterday. I can't seem to concentrate on books for more than a few minutes at a time. Any suggestions for things I could do?

Date: Wednesday, 28 January 2004 11:38 am (UTC)Two things you only need pen and paper for that I do sometimes when I'm feeling utterly poo but need an occupation: writing little quizzes for Nick to do, and making little puzzles (wordsearches or crosswords usually) of some kind for Nick to do. Utterly childish but Nick likes doing them and I like making them so it's all good. :) Or just write the basics for an online personality quiz and then put it on quizilla when you're feeling better. :)
If I think of any more I'll comment again. It's always the most frustrating bit of recovery from 'flu-like things, I know...

I've also mentioned in passing itsyourturn.com (http://www.itsyourturn.com/) which only has two-player games, but apparently you can (though I've never tried it) easily find a random stranger to play against if none of your friends happen to be online at the time.
I've played both of the above in Mozilla with JavaScript turned off and no plugins to speak of (as I can't get any to work on my ancient Red Hat 5 box).
